Job Type: Full-time
Expected Hours: 40 per week, 8 hr shift
Monday-Friday, weekends as needed.
Pay: $11.50 per hr
Responsibilities:
Provide daily care and attention to animals in the facility, including feeding, watering, and exercising.
Clean and maintain animal enclosures, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment.
Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinary staff.
Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with grooming and bathing of animals as needed.
Handle animals with care and compassion, using proper restraint techniques when necessary.
Assist with training and socialization activities for animals.
Maintain accurate records of animal care and behavior observations.

Qualifications:
Previous experience working with animals, such as dog training, animal handling, or veterinary experience, is preferred.
Knowledge of basic animal care practices and procedures.
Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and effectively.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require heavy lifting or prolonged periods of standing or walking.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed.
